Gorge of White Drin in Nashec/Našec

Because of its hydrological and geomorphological values, the Gorge (Canyon) of White Drin was taken under legal protection as a Natural Monument in 1986. The canyon is a morpho-hydrological phenomenon with genetic values. It was created during the Neogene period. Its formation was conditioned by many tectonic events. The gorge contains calcium formations. In its part of Prizren, namely the village of Nashec/Našec, it is known for its fishing and kayaking potential.
